~Callens Farm~

I love my mother, Nonna! Groceries are from the butcher shop!

Greetings from the farm!  It’s been so busy as usual and even now it hasn’t let up.  Mom was out here for over a month and  we miss her dearly!  We bought a food truck and have been busy getting that truck booked at events.  Can you guess what kind of food we will be serving?  Enjoy the photos!  I can honestly say that I am already sick of winter!!!

Marisa and Nonna in our food truck!

We put up another building for farrowing.  It was terribly cold most of the time!

About Callens Honey Farm

We live on a small family farm located in S.W. Minnesota, near the South Dakota border. The source of our honey is from white and red clover. The honey appears as liquid gold in color. Our honey is extracted using a hand cranked centrifugal force extractor. Then the honey is screened once into a holding container from which we later fill the small honey bottles. We do not heat treat the honey nor add any other ingredients. Pure and natural is our Minnesota honey! What could taste better?

Your mom seems like she’d be a lot of fun to spend time with. Reminds me of Pat’s mom.
    Have a Blessed Christmas! -Rick

    • Funny you mention that Rick. Jean always reminded me of mom!! She was a great lady and fun to sing with! Mom was the life of the parties we had over Thanksgiving, not to mention wild games of Italian cards. You and Pat have a Blessed Christmas too! Sandra
